Sony A7Cii Cinematic Autumn Fall

I recently bought the a7cii. Primarily as my daily carry. To capture family time and things I stumble upon in daily life that interest me. On paper it fits the bill packing a full frame sensor into a tiny body. It’s incredibely portable. And I love it for that. What I didn’t expect was the incredible video quality. The autofocus is rock solid, the dual native ISO is great for low light and the 5 axis stabilisation does a good job of removing jitters. And considdering the size, the dynamic range is actually pretty impressive too. Is it a pro camera? Well, no. At least not for me. For example, the mechanical shutter only goes to one 4000th of a second, there’s only one card slot and the video footage can be slightly grainy sometimes. But, honestly, for a form factor this small you have to expect some compremises. And, for me, there really aren’t that many. I think if you want the full frame look but are tired of lugging around a heavy camera, like me, you really can’t go wrong with the a7cii. So while it may not be a pro camera, 9 times out of 10 I actually pick up A7Cii over my bulkier pro cameras.

It’s small and mighty, and I love it!
